Nato a Castellaneta (TA) , vive e lavora a Bari.
Giovane, autodidatta, dal 1966 dipinge le prime opere rappresentando luci e colori della natura e dei paesaggi della sua terra (perseguendo anche da Ufficiale dell’Arma dei Carabinieri, dal 1973, a coltivare la passione per la pittura), producendo una serie di opere (ad olio e a gessetti), fino al 1983. In congedo dal 2005, con grado di Generale, ha ripreso a dipingere. Dal 2006 ha organizzato mostre personali e partecipato a collettive ed altri eventi, in Italia e all’estero.
E’ stato recensito da “La Repubblica”, “La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno”, “Il Quotidiano di Bari”, “Il Corriere dell’Arte”, La Rivista “BOE’”, “Punto d’Incontro” e riportato nei Cataloghi Annuali de “I Grandi Maestri” 2007 e “L’Elite New”2008.
