Tropical Simphony (2010) Painting by Carlos David

Born in Caracas, Venezuela. David lived there until the age of eleven. Subsequently moved to London England, with his family, where his father, a journalist, was posted as foreign correspondent. His mother, a dentist, came along too, reluctantly. While in London he studied graphic design, illustration and the fine arts, mastering in European Arts, in 1994. In 2002 he moved to Paris - France. David still lives and works in Paris, reluctantly as he would rather live in Spain where it is warmer. 

Since his arrival in Paris, David has also been involved in collage and digital imagery, work he produces during the winter months as his studio becomes unbearably cold. In 2020 he completed his cuisine studies, becoming Chef, one of his other interests
