Spain

Carlos Asensio nació en Castellón en el año 1986. Es licenciado en Bellas Artes y posee un Máster en Producción Artística por la Universidad Politécnica de València donde se encuentra realizando el programa de Doctorado en Arte y Producción. También ha cursado un Studio Program en el Berlin Art Institute donde recibió clases magistrales de la mano de Bernhard Martin o Larissa Fassler entre otros.

En su haber destacan varias exposiciones individuales entre las cuales cabe citar las realizadas en el Centro de Arte Tomás y Valiente de Fuenlabrada, en el Museo Municipal de Albacete y el Centro 14 de Alicante. En cuanto a muestras colectivas ha expuesto tanto en el ámbito nacional como europeo. Durante el 2022 en dos ediciones de los Open Studios de GlogauAIR o el BAAM#3 en Monopol Berlín. La muestra itinerante titulada Atlas del Arte Español llevada a cabo en el año 2021 en la Sala Mauro Muriendas de Torrelavega y el Centro Cultural O Vello Cárcere de Lugo. Las diversas exposiciones llevadas a cabo ese mismo año con el proyecto Infinity Art en ferias como la Affordable Art Fair de Ámsterdam, Art Madrid o Estampa en la capital española. La muestra colectiva 2019_n3 en Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani de Barcelona, el evento Art Spring 2019 celebrado en Berlín, varias ediciones de Marte Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Castelló, la III Bienal de las Artes Ciutat Vella Oberta en València, la II Convocatoria de La New Fair de Madrid o el proyecto itinerante Figurama 10.

Además, algunas de sus piezas están presentes en importantes colecciones privadas como el Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno y Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani en Barcelona, el Museo Arte Contemporanea Sicilia de Catania e instituciones públicas como el Museu de la Ciutat de Castelló. A nivel particular, su obra está presente en colecciones de España, Portugal, Italia, Francia, Países bajos, Suecia, Alemania, Bélgica, y Estados Unidos.
