Byam LE BOT arrived from the flat country in 1986, fell in love with the Pyrenees and settled there. She lives and works in Bagnères de Bigorre.
From this period, in parallel with a career in the health sector, Byam invested the artistic field. She studied at the Beaux-Arts in Tarbes, then at the Beaux-Arts of Paul. She graduated in Art History and computer graphics.

In 2000, she moved to the Landes and opened a studio. She welcomes the public there (courses, group visits). She works as a visual artist in schools and participates in artistic events in the region.

During her training as a graphic designer (2006-2007), she was very influenced by art brut, street art , graffiti (Combas, Dubuffet, Basquiat...).

She created her "chtis bélots", small figurative, round and colorful men, in 2008. She tells their stories and their adventures, in acrylic on canvas, all in movement and materials.
In 2020, confined to her studio, Byam begins a new artistic challenge and sets out to conquer her most beautiful Pyrenean peaks. They were presented at the Maison du Parc des Pyrénées in Cauterets in 2021, in Pau and Séméac in 2022.
