Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

Most of all I like emotions - our regular daily life is a diverse mix of different feelings. Love, joy, desire, sadness and many others - all of them I try to catch and then express through colors and balanced harmonious forms. I use a palette knife and try to express emotions in fast large strokes so I do not lose the feelings and visions they have brought. I never plan ahead color variations and shades and I do not sketch faces since sketches are useless with very thick layers of paint. For me, all of these paintings are living a spontaneous process and clean improvisation.

The artwork is the original handmade painting on a canvas done with a palette knife. High-quality acrylic paints are used. Varnished to preserve color and protect from UV-light, dust, and moisture. Edges are painted, does not require framing - the artwork is ready to hang. However, if you would like it framed, please contact me for the framing options.

The artwork is signed on the front and signed certificate of authenticity is provided.

The artwork is currently on exhibition in France so it's not available for online sale.
