Elisabeth Brainos is a contemporary artist based in France. She is a multidisciplinary artist, her works range from painting to sculpting, photography to digital arts. Brainos draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including modern Russian and ancient Greek art; she particularly admires Marc Chagall. Her works exist at the crossroads of dreams and reality, of her own world as well as imaginary.

Elisabeth Brainos was born in 1949, in Colombia. She exhibited in numerous galleries in France, London, Geneva, Athens, NewYork. In 2009, her photographic work was awarded by the Jury Prize in Kobe, Japan.
