Igor Borišekis a freelance photographer specializing in fine art, abstract, and travel photography. He has been a photographer for many years. His portfolio includes not only landscapes, plants, and animals, but also portraits, architecture, and street scenes. He is also interested in waste and negative human impacts. All of his photographs represent his philosophy on how we should behave in our surroundings. How to perceive nature, animals, and the overall balance of life that has been bestowed upon our planet Earth.

He devoted a portion of his work to abstract photography. He believes that this is one method for comprehending the complexities of our world. Such a viewpoint could assist in focusing on sustainable and wise coexistence within our environment. Each photo in my galleries depicts a real object or detail of nature captured in unique circumstances that cannot be replicated. He emphasizes composition and visual expression in his photographs.

Igor Borišek lives and works in Lehota pod Vtacnikom (Slovakia). Some of my portfolio images have won awards at various photographic competitions, such as the series "Dreams" and "Simplicity" at the IPA 2012 competition, and the series "Masks" at the International Photographer of the Year 2017 competition - category Fine art abstract photography.
