Blaise Lavenex is a Swiss digital artist and photographer born in 1953. From the start, he was passionate about images and used audiovisual media to express his artistic interests. He received professional training in cinematography and photography in Geneva, where he graduated in 1980.
Classical music has been a major source of inspiration for Blaise Lavenex. It allowed him to organize a photographic exhibition on "portraits of musicians" made at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, as well as in the two orchestras of Radio-France, the Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Orchestra. . He also organized another exhibition on the theme of the organ, embellished with sound and light photographs.
In 2023, Blaise Lavenex will celebrate his 70th birthday with an exhibition of new works and a presentation of photographic and digital techniques at the Bicubic theater in Romont, Switzerland. The exhibition will also include a small retrospective of his previous works.
Blaise Lavenex is also interested in the theme of Europe, and plans to organize an exhibition based on the 50 articles of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, discovering certain European cities.
All of Blaise Lavenex's exhibits, including bell towers, antennas, portraits of the year 2000, musicians, organs, flea market and the mountain, have been hung in various locations, including the tower of Radio Télévision Suisse Romande , in a major audiovisual store in Switzerland, at the Montreux Art Gallery, in the Sauvage tower in Romont, at the Swiss organ museum in Roche, Payerne, Fribourg, Chêne-Bourg, Art Forum Glâne in Rue in Switzerland, in neighboring France and in various social medical establishments in French-speaking Switzerland.
Blaise Lavenex lives and works in Romont, Switzerland, where he continues to create innovative works and explore new photographic and digital subjects and techniques, reflecting his taste for artistic experimentation.
