AT THE BEGINNING THERE IS THE ENCOUNTER... woods with a particular relief, with an unusual shape, I just have to touch them to realize that they have something to tell or a hidden value, to want to talk with them .AND THEN THE EMOTION;;;; AND THE CURIOSITY; AND THE CREATION BEGINS: The woods gradually reveal their personality, and my gouges undoubtedly help them to become what they promised to be. dialogue, in which case my gouges caress them in the direction of the hair, it may also be a discussion of which I am looking for the thread, it is still a confrontation in which the wood resists, without telling me where it is coming from.. .. So many woods, so many different creations. A common point however, and not the least: respect for the line of the woods, their texture, their personality, which will reveal to me, if I stay tuned, how I should work them, refine them .... RESULT: woodland animals, a faun, a unicorn, a whistler, a lyre, a fish, a moon, a soaring bird, an owl, a golden eagle, but also a falling man, an ovulation, a saint François sad...etc...to infinity... AT THE DETOUR OF A PATH, ON THE EDGE OF A RIVER, I HAVE CROSSED THEM, I LOVED THEM, AND THEY HAVE RETURNED IT WELL TO ME... .
