Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. He was born in the city of Medellín, Department of Antioquia.

He completed his first studies at the Colegio de María Auxiliadora in the city of Medellín and there he achieved a bachelor's degree.

In 1971, he entered the EAFIT School of Administration and Finance where he graduated as a Higher Textile Technician.

In 1976, he began his artistic training with professor María Eugenia Villa (Villita), María Dolores Cataño, professors of painting on porcelain at the Colegio Mayor de Antioquia.

From 1982 to 1994 she attended the Academy of Master Israel Rozo as a student of drawing, painting and sculpture, extending her knowledge to watercolor research with Master Mario Augusto Arroyave, an Antioquia watercolorist from the University of Antioquia, alternating with practice the exhibition of his works at the Institute of Fine Arts around the years 2002 to 2004.

Through the knowledge acquired with the assistance of great Masters such as: Dorian Flórez, Gilberto Valencia, Luis Ángel Hernández, Bernardo Echavarría, Diomer Alberto Estrada, Pascual Ruiz, the painter has managed to stand out as an artist who possesses the mystique and sensitivity that It translates to the passion and feeling that he develops in the art of painting, covered by the virtuosity of his works. The commitment and dedication of his work has given him a visible evolution, which ascends the steps of research, thus achieving sufficient merits to achieve his identity of line and style.

Countless exhibitions mark the career of this artist who has been distinguished with the honor of exhibiting her canvases and watercolors in important venues in the city such as the Antioquia Departmental Assembly, the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, the Aburra Sur Chamber of Commerce, Pilot Public Library, Diego Echavarría Library Masses in the city of Itagüí, University of Antioquia, Universidad de la Salle, Universidad Medellín, in the Marie Pousepine room, Mayor's Office of the Municipality of Caldas, House of Culture of the municipality of Sabaneta, House of the Culture of the municipality of Caldas, Palace of Culture of Medellín and different rooms in the hotel sector.
