Le dessin et la peinture ont tenu depuis son enfance une grande place dans la vie de Béatrice Frat. Artiste autodidacte, les formations ponctuelles aux Beaux arts l'ont naturellement guidée vers sa propre liberté d'expression. Peintre figuratif depuis une vingtaine d'années, elle nous livre sous une palette de couleurs chaudes et vibrantes sont sujet de prédilection : la femme, impalpable, mais tellement présente, élégante et légère voilée de pudeur. souvent pieds nus et yeux baissés.
Huile, acrylique ou aquarelle sont autant de techniques maîtrisées dans l'utilisation des couleurs pour réaliser les personnages issus de son imaginaire toujours délicatement posés sur la toile. Une véritable invitation au rêve et au voyage avec une ouverture sur l'irrationnel et cette exigence sur la composition des œuvres.
Au regard de cette exposition, on peut apprécier l'évolution des années de travail de cette artiste.
L'influence de trois grands maître, Gauguin, Zao Wu Ki, Soulage révèle son cheminement.
Chemin faisant, Béatrice Frat cherche à nous révéler ce qui se cache derrière ces surfaces, elle entre alors en résonance avec Zao Wu Ki. Sa peinture gagne en fluidité. L'épuration naissantes des formes, les corps semblant suspendus entre l'air et la lumière, sans pesanteur, annoncent l'abstraction du langage. L'artiste devient passeur de mondes et le dialogue du dessin et de la couleur se poursuit dans un autre univers. Sa peinture apparaît hors du temps comme ses personnages elle perd pied et vogue...
Béatrice Frat, cette jeune femme au talent prometteur, s'offre à ceux qui cherchent à saisir l'intuition et le mystère de la création.
Ses œuvres seront présentées du 23 février au 21 mars 2011 au salon de la Condamine de Corenc.

A l'issue de cette exposition Béatrice Frat à obtenu le premier prix d'honneur de la Condamine d'arts plastiques de l'année 2011 ex aequo avec Eric Alfieri, professionnel
