Ludovic Cussigh is an accomplished photographic artist, recognized today as an artist-author, after decades of dedication to the art of photography. His journey in the world of photography spans almost 42 years, starting at the age of 20 with a Ricoh KR 5 V2, where he developed his own negatives and printed his photos on Ilford paper. At the time, he shared his passion with his ex-wife, another photography enthusiast.

However, life, with family responsibilities, a 3X8 job and other commitments, temporarily sidelined his passion for fine art photography. During this period he mainly focused on souvenir photography.

At the age of 50, Ludovic decided to reconnect with his passion for artistic photography. He invested in a Sony A350 camera, followed by an A77, then an A99. It was then that he began to explore the world of artistic photography again and develop his own style.

His journey led him to join a photography club, where he quickly made his mark and became president after a year. He continued to learn and grow within the club, then made the decision to leave after five years to pursue his own artistic vision.

Life has sometimes had challenges in store for Ludovic, including a burglary where all his photographic equipment was stolen. Despite this ordeal, he persevered and switched to the Nikon brand, becoming the owner of a D750 and a D7000, in addition to his trusty Sony Rx100 V2, which accompanies him everywhere.

Three years ago, Ludovic was asked by his home town to create a photography club, bringing together around twenty enthusiasts. His photographic universe is vast, without being limited to a single area of ​​predilection. He excels in concert photography, dance photography, animal photography, macro photography, portrait photography with models, as well as street photography. His experience, perseverance and passion for the art of photography make him a talented artist who continues to capture the world around him with his unique gaze.
