I was born in Budapest, the capital and largest city of Hungary, and I still live here today. I probably wouldn't be able to live anywhere else.
Every day I walk the streets of this big city, soak up its atmosphere and look for and find many motifs for my work.
Although sometimes the busy and hectic atmosphere on the streets seems exhausting, I usually come home from them full of energy and ideas.
In the silence and warmth of my home, I then interpret the mosaics of experiences from the street into the motifs and compositions of my paintings.
These works of mine may be sympathetic and close not only to those who like Budapest, but also to those who like the atmosphere of cities and maybe even a little nostalgia that can be felt from some paintings...

I like to get to know new places, so I spend quite a lot of time on the road. I often travel by plane or train. Then, sometimes during long moments of waiting for a traffic connection, I observe the vibrant life in these frequented places. However, in times of calm, a completely different atmosphere reigns in these places. Train platforms and airport halls will be emptied. In such quiet moments, I have time to more carefully perceive and feel the atmosphere of calm and notice, for example, the architectural details of these interesting buildings.

I love New York City.
I have traveled a good part of the world and brought back unforgettable experiences from everywhere. But no place beats New York City for this. What a person experiences there in one day, how many different inspirations for my work I always gather there, would be enough for me for many years. Whether it is the stories of people from the always busy and crowded streets, where the pulse of life never stops, or the unique architecture with dominating skyscrapers - this is an inexhaustible well of ideas for a visual artist like me.
In New York, all my senses are working at full speed. The eyes cannot choose what to pay more and what less attention, because there is so much that is worth looking at. My brain then stores these visual sensations in memory as photographs so that I can incorporate them into the canvas at home.
At the same time, thousands of different sounds are pressed into the ears. From the roar of car engines, honking, braking to the clamor of a human anthill.
However, some smells of food served by street vendors waft into my nose, so I have to stop at some of them and stimulate my taste buds with hitherto unexperienced goodies.
It would take days to talk about New York City. Whether you've been there or not, I offer you a piece of New York City in my paintings.

I have lived in Budapest - the capital of Hungary - since childhood. I am used to the hustle and bustle of the big city and I need it. To life and to creation.
Even though life here is often rushed, hectic, and sometimes even chaotic, it provides me with many creatively useful inspirations.
I take full breaths in this busy, restless, turbulent atmosphere of the city, I observe people, and my imagination interprets future stories on canvas from these fragments.
The most beautiful and precious are the moments that can spontaneously create children. Innocent, uncorrupted, still naive children's souls sometimes diversify the drab, monotonous and boring world of adults.
Indeed, it is the children who, when you observe them on the street, are guaranteed to improve your mood, often bring a smile to your face, amuse and cheer you up, and awaken the most beautiful emotions in you.
True, maybe children would have a better, more beautiful and healthier life in the countryside than in the city, but the cities would then be sad and gloomy without them.
These paintings of mine are a tribute to children and thanks for the many beautiful experiences I have thanks to them.
