Observing E. Hopper is contemplating images immersed in silence, in a real and metaphysical space at the same time, Hopper manages to project into the viewer a feeling of distance from the subject through a delicate play of lights, cold, warm, sharp but almost always artificial, and for an extraordinary synthesis of details and their lonely and enigmatic characters.
In these works I use, respectfully, some scenes taken from E. Hopper (and some others from El Equipo Crónica and Velázquez) making protagonists of the spaces, their environments and scenes, deserted, open, closed and silent. I propose perspectives as a metaphor for points of view and approaches to involve the observer in an interactive narrative, where the characters do not show up because they do not exist ... because maybe it is us the ones we observe looking with imagination to the protagonists and the characters of that scene ... something that allows us to associate and understand. But the only certain thing is that they are only scenarios for the story and the characters to put the observer, if you want, because the protagonists do not exist and everything must be as enigmatic as we want, or not, or everything will be so relative .... or not, but what is certain is that everything shown is imaginary and will only become reflective and subjective, because imagination and creativity are free ... or not ....
