I was born in 1957 in Neftechala, Azerbaijan, which was then part of the Soviet Union. After graduating from high school, I followed my passion for art and joined the Faculty of Education College of Fine Arts named after Azim-Azimzade in Baku in 1974.

My studies were interrupted when I was called to serve my duty for the Soviet Army in 1975. I served in the army for two years, stationed in Czechoslovakia. After completing my service, I returned to college and continued to pursue my studies.

In 1981, I finished my studies at the college and decided to explore new opportunities in the arts. I moved to St. Petersburg, Russia, where I could learn more and develop my skills. In 1988, I enrolled as a first-year student at the Faculty of Painting Academy of Fine Arts named after Ilya Repin, where I spent the next six years studying.

In 1994, I completed my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, and my passion for art continued to lead me on new adventures. In 1997, I had to move to the Netherlands due to a family situation, where I settled in Bussum.

These days, my approach to art has evolved to incorporate digital technology while still maintaining the traditional elements of my craft. I now use my iPad and programs like Procreate and Autodesk Sketchpad to modify and rework my existing art pieces, allowing me to experiment with new ideas and techniques in a digital space.

Using these digital tools has also given me the ability to visualize and plan out new pieces on a larger scale. I often use my modified digital art as a reference to create larger, traditional canvas pieces that fully capture my vision. It's a unique approach that blends the old and the new, and I'm excited to continue exploring the possibilities of this hybrid approach to art.
