Aurélie Jeannin is a contemporary French painter. She rapidly became involved in the exploration of the abstract field after learning about oil painting. The sense of liberation that creating gives captivated her, and she lives this experience as an adventure. Jeannin strives to continually reinvent herself and feels liberated from any style or institution.
Her method is to spread, mix, wait, pick up, cover, explore, scratch, caress, rub, and sculpt in a state of openness and excitement and feeling a surge of energy. This process results in an autonomous dynamic that operates according to its own norms and a unique language.
Aurélie Jeannin was born in 1963, in France. She exhibited her works in France, Spain and Austria.
