Biography
My name is Athena-it's my artist name-.Art for me is a way of representing an emotion or nature or an idea as I perceive it. Often with abstraction (nature the emotion or the idea) is simplified to the rhythm, to the color, to the movement, that is to say to its vibration. I have been painting as an autodidact for almost 20 years. About fifteen years ago I made portraits but did not put them online on Art major. Then I started the abstract. The color and its proper position in the painting is what I like; like a stream flowing peacefully, the fluidity of my influences, I particularly like the Pre-Raphaelite Kandinsky and Seraphine de Senlis movement. Among the impressionists, I am fascinated by degas, his ethereal dancers and his floor planers. Concerning the work of seraphine, her painting appears to me as a definition of the multitude inside the Universe. How its flowers are like planets within a whole. I admire him and consider his work as universal... I have other creative ideas to come back to me and I hope that my works will find an echo among visitors to Art Majeur. Thank you Athena

Thank you very much Athena for your kind words on mine work the formate you asked for that is small is the reason that in ninteens i used to do work in dry pastel ; i was in love with pastel on the textured paper so that effect is evident in my oil paint and depth is symbol of life reflecting different moods of liviing, Again thanks for your kind and keen observation, Take care with regards
Hi Miss Athena I am really very sorry for you feel about my comments for the French impresssionist , i just do comprare the worth wise feelings so anyone painter can paint the true spirit of feelings on his or her canvas . There is no specific era or period for the aritists to paint what ever he or she like the subject. I do love and honor a lot for every artist who paint with dignity of soul and purity of their heart. Dear Athena please never feel like that being a painter i am no more concern about the comments what some one write or delete without responding i read the words you wrote on my painting Dancing flowers , i am very much impressed that you study Khalil Gilbran so well who is a great poet , intellectual and philosopher. I appreciate your great feelings regarding your visual expression and poetic vision to see an artisit feelings , Being a painter i paint what i feel sometimes the colors are so soft or misty when i paint in the early hour of the day but as the time passed the light or color language change so rapidly that i always try to capture but could not. Your work is conceptual reflectiing the fleeting moments of life or changing light effects in your work that is in romanticism. I also fasinate nature to create feelings of romance and love in my work that is what i want to see in the life of people disregarding all kind of discrimination or differences of color,land and religion, I am very pleased to read your words of wisdom reflecting the reality of life .
