born 5th of october in 1955, as luzian gryczan, son of german parents in masuria, poland.
attendance of a polish school.
1967 emigration to east germany, attendance of a german school.
at an early age he attended drawing lessons until he got a student of axel krüger (graduate of dresdner kunstakademie).

1975-1982
his successful and consequent approach to art as an open conflict with the regime in east germany prompted him to work under the pseudonym konrad bohara.

1985-1996
under the dictum “art in action” he performed the following happenings:
friedensfeier und erfindung der welt (peace celebration and invention of the world)
raum-block soziale skulptur (space- block social sculpture) as uebergabe der erde an sich selbst (handing over the earth to herself)
landart-aktionen (landart-actions) in ostende, belgium
landart - aktionen, greifswald

in 1996 he decided to draw back from all activities and connections to the art scene to work in solitude in a studio at the monastery heiligengrabe, near wittstock/dosse, brandenburg.
this studio provided him ideal facilities to work on oil paintings, sculptures, graphical cycles and epical poems.
it is also in the monastery where he has extendedly worked on his main oeuvre “EARTHMAKER” and prepared the “FOUNDATION K.7.K”, networking artists that are engaged in the field of environment, politics and anthropology.

in 2007 he moved out of the monastery to allow EARTHMAKER to appear in public.
currently, he resides in montreal, where he and his associates work on the advancement of this project.
