At the crossroads of painting and photography, I offer an artistic universe rich in technical experiments
Originally from Maine et Loire, I am an entirely self-taught image maker. Always attracted by the image, I have been working on photographic techniques since 1994.
Disembarking in Montpellier in 1995, I made many artistic encounters: musicians, actors, painters, photographers ... Coming from different backgrounds, these artists allow me to experiment with shooting by serving as models and events such as concerts , carnivals or cabarets. In 1997, I produced a collective exhibition on the sedentary gypsy population of Lunel. A very enriching first common experience.
Drawing my inspiration from the impressionists, surrealists and photographers of the Baltic countries, it is from 2003 that I finally let my creativity run free.
Their images exude such power of emotion that it was obvious that my new images would be marked forever.
Like an alchemist in his den, I use all kinds of materials and consider my laboratory as a real place of artistic experiences. There, some people open up a new perspective to me by teaching me how to use computer tools (computer, software, scanners etc.) and digital technology gradually takes its place in my work.
