Natasha Sazonova was born in Ukraine, and began painting as a toddler. At the age of four, she became one of the youngest students ever to attend the Fine Arts Studio of the University of Engineering and Architecture in Kiev. Natasha started exhibiting her book illustrations at an early age and was planning on becoming a professional artist for as long as she can remember. She immigrated to the United States at sixteen to join her mother, who had already been living there for three years. Natasha began her junior year of high school not speaking much English, and eighteen months later graduated in the top five percent of her class. Sazonova holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing an MA in graphic design. As an illustrator Natasha specializes in editorial and book illustration. Since she believes that in order to be a good illustrator an artist needs to be a well-rounded person, Natasha spends a lot of time on self-education. She speaks four languages and keeps up with world literature, philosophy and politics. Ms. Sazonova provides a variety of design services to local businesses. She is also a freelance artist. Her works have been exhibited in galleries throughout Northeast, including Museum of Art and Design in New York City. She has participated in two Cow Parades (in Boston and West Hartford), as well as in Connecticut Heart Parade. Ms. Sazonova also creates fine art works on commission for businesses as well as for private collections. Please check for more details
