I love watching the sunrise. When I saw the unusually bright dawn of the sun, it seemed to me that now young Aurora is being born. This became the idea behind my painting. I love watching the sunrise. When I saw the unusually bright dawn of the sun, it seemed to me that now young Aurora is being born. This became the idea behind my painting.

Bright rays of the sun lit up and colored the sky. In its rays the figure of a girl was waking up, the light was reflected on her body and hair. Below, the rays pass into the wavy lines of the girl's dress.

My composition is thought out asymmetrically.
What makes you feel the dynamics, upward movement, rhythm, smooth lines, energetic strokes.
All this transfers the vital energy passing from the sun to a young girl.

First, I drew the figure of a girl on canvas, and then I applied acrylics, brushes, and a palette knife. I used brighter and more pasty acrylic paints to better convey my idea.

It took several days to complete the painting.
I think that my picture will fill with light and bring young energy into the house for those people who will acquire it.

Nata Shemshur is a contemporary American-Ukrainian artist and designer. The artist's name is Natalia Ignatenko (pseudonym Nata Shemshur). Born in 1966 in Odessa, Ukraine. In 2016, Nata moved to the USA, where she has been living ever since.


She combines classical and contemporary art in her works. From the image of people, nature with their depth to the transfer of the abstract and expressive.Inspired by the classics of Michelangelo, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, artist Nata Shemshur tries to make a conceptual contribution to contemporary art.


Artist's statement: The main goal is to convey an emotional and semantic message. Her work is not only visually appealing, but also gives an impetus to philosophizing. All the artist's works have several semantic levels. They combine today's worldview of the artist and appeal to something historical that unites us all. They convey both the deep inner world of the image and the abstract expressiveness and musicality of painting.


Before becoming an artist, she worked for over 10 years in education, university teaching, interior design, restorer, marketing. In 2019, she retired from the corporate world to pursue her creative dreams and pursue a full-time career.

2022 -  recognition Certificate of contribution and support of the Portrait Society of America, a member of this society.

Education
1998-2003 - the Grekov Art College (Academic program: painting, graphics, anatomy human, art historical, teaching art) in Odesa, Ukraine.

Many of my paintings belong to foreign private collectors in Germany, Italy, England, Holland, France, the USA, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, etc.
