Slydes, painter and photographer, draws his inspiration from the simple moments and emotions that have surrounded him since his childhood. His artistic approach is expressed through a variety of mediums, including drawing, music, painting and photography. For Slydes, art has become a way of life, a passion that has become indispensable.

Self-taught, he explores various artistic techniques, using mediums such as oil, acrylic and ink. He likes to add texture and impasto to his works to give them depth and create vibrant paintings of timeless energy. Photography also plays an essential role in his creative process, capturing moments that inspire him and which then resurface on the canvas of his studio.

Originally from the south of France, Slydes began his career as a carpenter-cabinetmaker in Nîmes. Alongside his work, he cultivated his passion for music for more than twenty years. However, it was in the years 2009-2010 that he began his artistic career in painting. His style developed in the psychedelic expression movement, combining dreamlike elements and artistic counterculture.

Today, Slydes explores a wide range of subjects, seeking inspiration from everything that shaped his childhood and life. His creativity is expressed through paintings rich in emotion and captivating photographs, making him a versatile and passionate artist.
