Filippo Pietro Castrovinci is a contemporary Italian sculptor. His passion for working with metal led him to found in 2004, together with other master blacksmiths, the Italian Association of Blacksmiths of Art, of which he was president until March 2020.
Castrovinci's artworks are the result of a careful and constantly evolving study; experiments with new techniques for the design and creation of innovative works where the ancient and the modern blend together so as to rekindle the debate about the "legitimacy" of new tools and technologies in the field of art and creativity.
Filippo Pietro Castrovinci has participated in various national and international exhibitions and events. Today, together with his daughter, he runs a company in Capri Leone, Sicily, specializing in the artistic processing of metals "ArteInFerroCastrovinci".
