Noé Pauporté is a contemporary Belgian artist. He was raised in an artistic environment as the son and grandson of painters. From the age of 13, after being immersed in hip-hop culture, he finds his place in the illegal realm of graffiti and tagging, which offers him the rush of adrenaline he craves. Three years later, he made the decision to start working on his first canvas, where the graffiti fades away to unveil a whole series of imaginary characters that, when we step back, create a face. This preoccupation with faces and their expressions quickly evolved into the artist's signature style.

The artist works freely on big surfaces and uses other media in addition to the canvas - walls, skateboards, figurines, wood, cars, etc. He is able to accomplish a very urban style that is reminiscent of the structure of a mosaic, with color constantly playing a crucial part.

Noé Pauporté was born in 1985 in Brussels, Belgium.
