Samah Kthar is an artist inspired by the present moment. Her journey, however, did not always begin as an artist, for she did not believe she was the creative type growing up.Samah has obtained three degrees in her life: B.S. in Biology, Health Sciences and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. In the year 2017, grief took place and healing was necessary to continue on. Although having no formal experience, Samah chose to paint what she felt for the first time. Little did she know, this seemingly small action was yet to change the course of her life and transform it into so many beautiful ways. For that, she is grateful for the path and life she lives today.

Learning is foundational and being open to all possibilities is what drives her path towards the merging of knowledge and spirituality. She took it upon herself to learn the history of both the artists who paved the way, and the contemporary artists of today. Samah approaches her art similar to those of the abstract expressionists. It is the feeling of the moment, allowing each step of the way to be unplanned. Creating art is the conduit for her spiritual practice, allowing her to be fully immersed in all that there is , ever was or will be. It is the inspiration of the unknown, of what is yet to transpire. Yet, with good faith, it is something that awaits to enter at divine timing.

The experience had a tremendous impact on her and her work continues to evolve tremendously. This new found purpose has given Samah the realization that there is more than we think we know and we are being guided every step of the way. Her purpose is to use painting as an ability to manipulate energy and transform it with set intentions of love. Her hope is to inspire, connect and to help other beings along the way.The work she is currently creating is influenced by the shift taking place in the world, communication through sacred geometry, and the ultimate goal of unity through compassion. We are meant to be here and this message is meant to resonate by those who receive it. Samah Kthar gives her life to art because it has given her life.
