I was born in Moscow. By the will of fate my family traveled a lot and we visited many parts of Russia, which gave me a wide range of experiences about people and nature. It gave rise to a wish to express this experience in paint and pencil.
Especially during my 5 years in Tajikistan, I developed a particular love of light, colors and the grand scale of nature. These unforgettable impressions are indelibly imprinted in my memory.
My education consisted of study in 3 art studios, 4 years in Moscow Art School and finally, 5 years in university which earned me a degree as a professional designer.
My artistic career spread to different areas including interior design, book and newspaper illustration and logo and ceramic design. During this time, my 10 years as an art teacher allowed me to develop my painting and give me a freer expression of my vision. I gained a deeper understanding of people and their individuality, which was, and still is, for me, a constant stimulus to self-perfection.
My work is an expression of my feelings and my understanding of the world. This world contains everything; from the stars in the sky, the mountains, valleys, rocks to the little butterfly or drop of water. Everything can be special if you pay attention to it. All things are connected and depend on each other.
There are two motivations to my art that operate on different levels. On the one hand are the sketches and drawings for gathering material from my observations of nature and people. Then there are the abstract pieces that are my attempt to translate complex ideas and perceptions into a meaningful image. ///// I never get tired to learn
