Born in Brussels in 1969 under the sign of Aquarius, Sven Vandenbosch studied art at RITCS (Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound) Brussels. From 1996 he has travelled around the world residing in Europe, Middle East and Central America.

Since 2001 he is based in Monaco where he works as an art curator and he continues to dedicate his life to art. He studied trompe-l'oeil  at ISARA, followed intensive courses in aerography with Dominique Mulhem, followed evening courses at BOSIO (Monegasque Art School) and still participates in live model drawing sessions with Toby Wright.

As a member of ADAGP (copyright association of arts) he creates works which are strongly influenced by what he calls "the good Belgian surrealist sense of humour".

His collection does not only include abstract but also figurative paintings.  He even audaciously sometimes mixes both styles.

He works on traditional linen canvasses, wood, recycled objects and window glass.

On his quest to a world of infinite beauty he continues his crusade towards new horizons.
