Picasso once said that different motivations call for different means of expression. I thought that this topic “Your View on Four Legs of Two Persons in one work” called for a deeper and more profound mode of expression, one I had not attained before, one that I was not sure I could attain. I wanted this to be different from the usual meanings and expressions that one may find in “Mother and Child” themes. I have tried to show the child in a mother’s womb which I call a holy unison has two persons in one being in a holy unison.
I am doing this as a tribute to Motherhood.
Women are considered to be the most important valuable jewel ever created because the objectives of life, progeny, happiness, all can be attained only through them. So the Hindu religion believes that they have to be worshipped as the Goddess of prosperity in the family. Each and every individual is obliged to a woman as mother or wife.
Women are blessed with the divine duty of maternity. It is a great treasure to have a child who brings fame, pride, prosperity, beholds righteousness and continuity of human race. The care of a child begins with the health of the parents.
It is said that the artist's job is to always deepen the mystery. In order to do this, artists often hide realistic portrayal. Nevertheless, the above comments reveal the idea I used for this painting.
