I believe that Art does not distinguish between men and women, however many times the works of women artists have been relegated to the background, or have not had the deserved recognition. Through my paintings, I try to convey the image of a strong, intelligent, independent and committed woman. That is why I have chosen this title ¨ Manhattan Gifts¨ by the author Candace Bushnell. Since I share its principles and my works convey these commitments.

Taboada purification. New painter born in “Terra da Chispa”. Although my artistic concerns arose at an early age, my foray into the world of painting was late.

After taking several monographic courses on painting, I decided to continue learning on my own. My paintings are the reflection of my personality, intense and full of strength, and through them I try to show my emotions. It's not so much the shapes, but rather the colors and the strength of the light that attract me, and that's what I want to capture in my paintings.

Supported by my daughters and my painter friends, I immerse myself in the world of art full of illusion and with the desire to continue exploring and learning a little more every day.

My artistic influence: Impressionism and the Renaissance classics. Oscar Falguera, Ronny Rodhammar, Tornero and Esther Serra are my teachers in Barcelona.

I participate with other professionals being a member of different groups of Artists such as: Artistasinfronteras, Les amics del peintre, Abriendo Fronteras, Artworld, Force, International Artists, Paint's world, Arts effects.

The Internet is one of the means I use the most to communicate and I participate virtually and share concerns and experiences with other creators.
