Kino Mistral was born in Milan, where he lived his first 20 years living in Corso Magenta right near the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. He is thrilled by the splendor and uniqueness of this masterpiece, which leaves its mark on the artist's visual and cultural education.

He attended the Leonardo Da Vinci scientific high school; then the faculty of architecture. At the same time he dedicated himself to painting and experimented with kinetic art and sculpture. He is passionate about ethnic sculptures and exotic art, to the study of which he also dedicates himself in his travels of knowledge and study in many parts of the world: in Central and South America, in Saharan and Equatorial Africa, in the Middle East, in South-East Asia, studying the artistic expressions of different ethnic groups.

He then lived in New York for two years, to learn about the newer and more sophisticated design and artistic concepts that were developing at that time . Here he also met Andy Wharol and Bob Rauschemberg.

Back in Italy, he married in Palermo, where he remained in love with the people and colors of Sicily. Here he lives most of the year, dividing the rest of his time between Milan and Tuscany.

He always thinks about Art, always dedicates himself to Painting, but for several years profession of interior architect and designed 300 villas, houses, banks, public places, between Milan, Sicily and Tuscany.

Art critics recognize that those years of experience at the drawing board have contributed greatly to the development of his very personal painting and to the geometric precision of the accurate finishing of his paintings.
