French artist, Olivier PRINGAL sculpts light.
His work stands out for the strong contrast between light and shadow areas. He
models the relief of the body by working the light on the volumes, light mobilized
in order to reshape the intimate space of the body.
This work in chiaroscuro brings a unique dimension to his paintings, a singular
visual experience. This technique defines the basis of his aesthetic.
Through research Olivier PRINGAL creates a personal language.
Attaching to work on the movement of bodies, he confers an almost living dimension
through his works. The latter are imbued with a disconcerting realism.
The dry pastel work gives body to the light, a subtle way for him to represent
the elusive.
