Biography
Carmen G. Junyent, self-taught painter and photographer, was born in Barcelona (Spain). Her passion for art developed from an early age, and she explored different techniques and mediums to express her creativity.
The paintings from Carmen G. Junyent's "Miradas del Mundo" collection captivate the viewer and reflect the soul of her subjects. Through her works, she transmits emotions, vitality, sensitivity, highlighting above all the expressive capacity of the gaze. His paintings never leave you indifferent, they overflow with colors, beauty, tenderness, exoticism, serenity, joy... they breathe life.
With an innate elegance, Carmen brings her characters to life, bringing us closer to the protagonists of her works. She represents the diversity and richness of the people who crossed her path during her many travels through different countries such as France, Germany, Belgium, Morocco, Norway, Canada, Singapore, Miami, New York , China, Japan, and many more.
The artist has achieved international recognition with several exhibitions in various countries. In particular, she won the fourth Special Prize awarded by the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts du Paris during her exhibitions at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, as well as the "SILVER MEDAL" awarded by the Committee of the "17th International Fair of 'West Lake Art' in Hangzhou China.
Carmen G. Junyent uses different techniques such as marker, watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic and mixtures to create her works.
Among the most significant individual exhibitions in which she has participated are her exhibition at the Galería Arte GAUDí in Madrid in January 2005, at SALA BARNA in Barcelona in December 2005, at "LA COTXERA" in Barcelona in June 2008, at the Club Náutico de Salou (Tarragona) in June/July 2009, at the Restaurante Ciudadela in Barcelona in June 2010, at the Galería Arte "COSTA DE AZAHAR" in Benicarló in July 2011, at the Galería de Arte Ayuntamiento de Vallromanes (Barcelona) in November 2011, and at the Feria Internacional "CREATIVA" in Barcelona in November 2012, to name but a few.

Buenos días, Les informamos que, debido a la buena acogida de la exposición The MEAM Hall, la Comisión de la Fundación ha decidido prolongar la exposición dos semanas, hasta el domingo 11 de septiembre.https://www.facebook.com/museumeam

Exposición "THE MEAM HALL", en la que tengo el privilegio de poder exponer una de mis mini-pinturas, titulada "MIRADA CON GLAMOUR". Desde aquí quiero dar las gracias al Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno, por haberme dado esta gran oportunidad de poder visualizar mi pintura.
El MEAM, en su interés en potenciar el trabajo de los artistas figurativos y la difusión de sus obras, de forma que se hagan accesibles al público en general, habilita un nuevo espacio en el patio de entrada principal del Palau Gomis, sede del MEAM, donde podréis descubrir la obra en pequeño formato (20 x 20 cm) de 119 obras de 107 artistas internacionales, tanto emergentes como consagrados.
Con esta nueva iniciativa expositiva, el museo se pone como objetivo visibilizar la obra de artistas figurativos a coleccionistas, amantes del arte e interesados en arte original. La exposición podrá verse en el MEAM hasta el 26 de agosto de 2022.

… Dicen que la mirada es el espejo del alma … y cuando se tiene la ocasión de contemplar las pinturas de la colección Miradas del Mundo, de Carmen G. Junyent, esa expresión todavía cobra más fuerza.

De nuevo aquí con vosotros compartiendo unos instantes de mi estancia en Hangzhou , con motivo de mi exposición en la "17 Feria Internacional del Lago Oeste".
Ha sido una experiencia magnífica e inolvidable, que he tenido la suerte de poder compartir con 7 artistas pintores más representando a Catalunya en China 中国.
La Feria Internacional de Arte nos ha concedido la MEDALLA DE PLATA !!! ... estamos enormemente felices de haber dejado el listón tan alto !!!
Poco a poco iré colgando más fotos de estos grandes momentos vividos en China.
