My name is Athena-it's my artist name-.Art for me is a way of representing an emotion or nature or an idea as I perceive it. Often with abstraction (nature the emotion or the idea) is simplified to the rhythm, to the color, to the movement, that is to say to its vibration. I have been painting as an autodidact for almost 20 years. About fifteen years ago I made portraits but did not put them online on Art major. Then I started the abstract. The color and its proper position in the painting is what I like; like a stream flowing peacefully, the fluidity of my influences, I particularly like the Pre-Raphaelite Kandinsky and Seraphine de Senlis movement. Among the impressionists, I am fascinated by degas, his ethereal dancers and his floor planers. Concerning the work of seraphine, her painting appears to me as a definition of the multitude inside the Universe. How its flowers are like planets within a whole. I admire him and consider his work as universal... I have other creative ideas to come back to me and I hope that my works will find an echo among visitors to Art Majeur. Thank you Athena
