Olive likes to place her eye in the lens to show the invisible in the visible. Here, the boats of Arcachon photographed, one morning in October, let their colored mass express themselves, their sails swell and spread over the medium which traps the light. There, winter pours in waves on a path covered with dead leaves, a halo of snow ricochets on the path. Further on, the lights of a small village in the Douro region scatter, roll up, collide on the photograph to be reborn in unexpected forms.
The trigger is each time the emotion caused by the revelation of the image, it must tell its own story. The techniques used (blur, movement, freedom of exposure, etc.) seek to trap the space-time that only exists in the photographic chamber.
