Michael was born in Belarus. From 1979 to 1984 he studied Art, Architecture and Design at the Byelorussian Polytechnic School of Architecture in Minsk. For the past 20 years he has worked as a graphic designer as well as a freelance illustrator for some of New York’s prominent publications such as the New York Times, while at the same time developing his own distinctive art style.
He is working in several media: painting, sculpture, drawing and mixed media.
