Sheydayev

Ilgar Sheydayev is a contemporary award-winning Azerbaijani painter and sculptor. His incredible work includes busts and sculptures in bronze, metal, clay, watercolors and oil paintings, iron scrap and shavings experiments, virtual art, and large sculptural forms and compositions. These works are both classical and futuristic, indicating that the skilled sculptor is always looking for new installation forms and materials.

Sheydayev won numerous awards for his works: the sculpture “Slavyanka” was awarded a medal and a diploma from the Moscow Central House of Writers, and at the All-Russian competition “Golden Pen of Russia” he received the medal “For Solar Activity”. He was also awarded the highest award in Quedlinburg - Palm Art Special Prize for the work "Frühlings Gedanken". The exhibition which was held in Hamburg, the works of Sheydaev were also presented, among the well-known German sculptors.

Ilgar Sheydayev was born in 1984, in Siberia. He graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture of the Baku Art Academy in Azerbaijan. He lives and works in Germany.
