Dominique Manchet

Dominique Manchet is a contemporary French painter whose artistic journey has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Censier Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Art History from F. Rabelais Tours, Manchet has a solid foundation in both artistic practice and academic inquiry.

In addition to her pursuits as a painter, Manchet has also worked as an art teacher and coordinator at the Grenoble rectorate. Over the years, her research and exploration have led her to constantly question and evolve her approach to art. She integrates various influences into her work, allowing herself to be guided by her observations and encounters.

For Manchet, the act of creation is akin to collecting treasures from the world around her. She gathers inspiration from stones, encounters, and miscellaneous objects, using them as storytelling tools in her art.
