Vsevolod Chistiakov, a contemporary Russian painter, traces the roots of his artistic journey back to the indelible memories of childhood, where the scent of oil paints in the classroom became a source of comfort and inspiration. Today, that lingering, earthy aroma sets the tone for each day as he enters his studio, allowing it to guide his brush with a sense of familiarity and creative impetus. 

With a penchant for experimentation, Vsevolod incorporates various mediums, including watercolors, pastels, and charcoal, but his true passion and expertise lie in using oil on canvas, employing impressionist and realist techniques.
