Self taught. I painted murals for 3 years before putting my works on canvas. I also created about 70 digital paintings, which inspired me to paint on canvas. I study the works of my favorite artists and read many art books to get inspiration and ideas.
I tend to paint fast and mix my colors as I go. Texture, lines, and certain blends are made with everything from sticks to sandpaper. I will scrape and area with a razor blade, use steel wool, spray with a garden hose, whatever it takes to get the results I am looking for.
