Having grown up in a household with a photographer for a grandmother and a re-purposed dark room as a bedroom, there's no surprise why I've become passionate about capturing life's moments on film. While studying at Northwestern University I purchased my first professional camera, landed a job managing the campus dark-room, and never looked back.

After graduation I moved to New York to attend the Whitney Museum of Art's Independent Studies Program as an artist in residence for one year. While at the Whitney ISP, Russell Simmons became aware of my work and requested that I exhibit images at his RUSH Arts Gallery. Following the Whitney Program, I remained in New York and continued my role as a professional photographer and writer. I wrote regularly for Russell Simmons' ONEWORLD magazine, and photographed advertising campaigns for pioneering urban brands like UrbanWorld Films (SONY), ENYCE, MECCA, LEVIS, and PHAT FARM. I have published fashion editorials and ad campaigns in VIBE, SOURCE, XXL, Mass Appeal, and HONEY magazines, including the cover of an issue of the Hollywood Reporter.

Since I moved to Los Angeles I have participated in several exhibitions including The CAL Trans Building downtown (curated by Gallery Row), The Fall SubMerge Art Gallery (twice), and most recently, the Paramount Ranch Art Fair.

“THE ARTIST SEES NOTHING AS IT IS, BUT FULLER, SIMPLER, AND STRONGER.”
— FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE
