Anne Hervy, an artist with a background in both painting and graphic design, hails from the artistic realm. She holds degrees in Plastic Arts from the Faculties of Strasbourg and Paris VIII, culminating in a Master's in Plastic Arts with a focus on applied arts.
Professionally, Anne thrived for nearly 15 years in Paris' fashion industry, working as a textile designer and stylist. During this period, she delved into modeling and stone sculpture at Paris' ADAC workshops, honing her skills over eight years.
Upon relocating to Nantes, Anne continued her freelance career, transitioning away from fashion and into graphic design. In 2010, she rekindled her passion for painting, drawing on her extensive experience with color from her fourteen-year fashion tenure. Her artistic enthusiasm is channeled into the exploration of transparency, employing subtle color glazes. Anne revels in the interplay of layered paints, gently caressing her canvases with each stroke, birthing unique artworks.
In 2013, she took over her instructor's studio, finally granted the ideal luminous space to fully embrace both roles, particularly that of a painter. Her Atelier-Gallery "LE 56" in Nantes is where she showcases her creations and she actively participates in diverse artistic occasions like Art3f, La promenade des Ateliers, l'Art est aux Nefs, as well as art fairs and personal exhibitions.
Her growing popularity and shared artistic vision led to her work being selected by the Parisian gallery "La Ralentie," where it was displayed in February 2015. As her influence spreads, Anne opted to broaden her horizons, showcasing her art beyond Nantes.
