Alexandre Barberà-Ivanoff is a contemporary French artist. He studied painting from the age of 12 in a private workshop, with the painters Christian Welter, Gerard Di-Maccio, then Jean Bertholle. The artist is inspired by a variety of cultures, times, and influences, having Russian and Spanish roots as well as a strong French identity. He does figurative paintings with a balance of elegance and discomfort, masculine and feminine, light and dark.
Alexandre Barberà-Ivanoff was born in 1973, in France. His main work was exposed in the European Parliament of Strasbourg, in 2010. In Italy he participated with 4 other European painters in the elaboration of the 25 paintings which are permanently exhibited in the center city of Cosenza.
