Anna Makarova was born in Leningrad ( USSR)
Anna started to play harp and painting in the age of 6...At the moment she is  musician and Artist.... The themes of the paintings -were born under the impression of the great music (Bach, Tchaikovsky ,Strauss , Mahler, Scriabin... .),of the great writers (- Bulgakov, Chekhov, Pushkin, Marquez),of great artists (Bosch, Van Gogh, Claude Monet , Frida Kahlo .)... ,of course, a lot of paintings were born after the International tours and concerts with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic conducting by maestro Yury Temirkanov . Anna is the soloist of this famous orchestra more than 20 years. Also she is professor of Sankt-Petersburg conservatoire (more than 20 years). Images, emotional states of work are inspired by travels to Japan, Maldives, India,USA, Cambodia,Tibet , Switzerland..... These are expressive landscapes, philosophical and surreal fantasies - dreams, thoughts on canvas, expressing the artist's feelings, philosophical reflections on life and creativity. Personal exhibitions of Anna Makarova were held in St. Petersburg 2015,2016,2018;in Moscow in the State of Bachrushin Museum 2017, in Berlin in 2017, in Tajikistan ..The works of Anna Makarova are kept in private collections and museums around the world.( England, Holland, France, USA,Russia…)
