Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. I disegni Neorupestri sono creati da Andrea Benetti su una carta che realizza partendo da una carta grezza e trattandola con varie sostanze fino a farla divenire la "Carta di Montesanto", la "Carta di Patù, la "Carta di Sant'Erasmo" nomi coi quali ha chiamato i vari tipi di carta, ispirandosi ai luoghi dove è stata creata. Sono usati carboncino, sanguigna, seppia e gesso bianco. Le raffigurazioni ritraggono spesso graffiti realizzati dall'uomo preistorico, oppure trasfigurate o inventando un neo-simbolismo che si ispira alla pittura Rupestre. I disegni sono posti tra due lastre di plexiglas, unite da borchie color argento, come a emulare un prezioso reperto archeologico.

Pigments

Paint made with colored powder suspended in a liquid binder to obtain some paint or ink.

Charcoal

Drawing made with a branch of Willow or charcoal of charred Europe. It enables to obtain very deep blacks, precise traces, thin or on the contrary very broad, depending on the way it is used.

Chalk

Drawing made with chalk, a white marine rock that is traditionally white in colour and can sometimes be coloured.

Technic Drawing

Drawing is a technique of visual representation on a flat support. The term "drawing" designates both the action of drawing, the resulting graphic work, and the shape of any object. It is also a representation on a surface of the shape (and possibly the light and shadow values) of an object or figure, rather than their color. There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

Andrea Benetti, born in Italy in 1964, creator of the Neo-Cave Art Manifesto, which he presented at the 53rd Venice Bienna d'Arte, (Nature and Dreams Pavilion - Ca' Foscari University). The Manifesto is conceptually inspired by the birth of art, quoting, reinventing, transfiguring symbols and forms of cave painting, building an ideal bridge between the origin of art and its contemporaneity. He currently collaborates in the realization of projects with various universities, including Johns Hopkins University, the Universities of Roma Tre, Bologna, Ferrara, Bari, Lecce, Bergamo, Pescara and various have carried out university research on his art. Andrea Benetti's works are in Institutional Collections around the world, including the U.N. , the Quirinale, the Chamber of Deputies, the Vatican, Embassies and important contemporary art museums and prestigious Private Collections. In 2020, Andrea Benetti was awarded the 49th “Nettuno d'Oro” Award, the longest-running and most prestigious annual artistic award of the city of Bologna. For several years the entry "Andrea Benetti" has been present in many encyclopedias, including Treccani (the most important Italian encyclopedia), the WikiArt encyclopedia (the most important online art encyclopedia), the De Agostini encyclopedia and is present on Wikipedia, translated into thirty languages.
