This drawing is about the information we've got in 2019 -the main points, that I remember from the last year and which I connect with the new pandemic.
As introduction:
News of increased life expectancy. About the fact that we do not have enough money for future pensions, because there are fewer young people and more and more old people.
It even seemed that it sounded like something "uncomfortable" for the country, that people have become healthier and living standards will improve.
And when the first news from China about the virus came out, all the media assured us that the new virus was no more dangerous than the usual flu.

Do you remember such information too?

The texts on the blue background drawing: "How to survive the coming retirement crises", "Influenza is much more dangerous that corona!", "Life expectancy increases!", "Die Lebenserwartung steigt!".

Anastasia Vasilyeva is an artist dedicated to abstract conceptual art. In her works, she combines art with motifs and themes of mathematics as well as computer science.
