The Nymphs in Greek Mythology were female ideological forms of divine origin, young in their age, living in the wild, and they roamed in the mountains, accompanying Artemis and playing with her. They were all beautiful, but Artemis stood out with her throne among them. They were singing and dancing together with Panna in the meadows and slopes, usually near whose springs they were in fact their allegorical representation. They praised their sweet voices, the Olympian gods and especially the father of Pan, Hermes. Aphrodite was dancing with them along with the Graces, as Homer says, on Mount Ida, in Troy. Sometimes their own dance leads him god Apollo. Nymphs generally ranked among gods and mortals, as demigods. They were not immortal, they lived too much and fed ragweed.....Wikipedia!!
