Ana Macovei is a talented Romanian artist, born in 1972 in Piatra Neamt, where she currently lives and works. She is both a photographer and a painter, but she prefers traditional painting techniques. She notably uses watercolour, pastel colored pencils and mixed techniques to create poetic and delicate works.

In addition to her artistic practice, Ana Macovei is very involved in cultural projects aimed at giving children a taste for reading. She regularly collaborates with various Romanian and French language teachers, librarians and primary school teachers to run workshops for illustrating reading texts or animating storytelling characters with children's drawings.

These projects are very important to Ana Macovei, who considers that art can be a vehicle for transmitting values and education. She loves working with children because she finds their spontaneity and imagination to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

As an artist, Ana Macovei creates very poetic works that seek to capture the beauty and fragility of the world. His paintings and photographs are often imbued with great gentleness and deep sensitivity.

Ana Macovei is a committed and passionate artist, who seeks to transmit her passion for art and reading to children. Her work is both personal and universal, seeking to explore universal themes of beauty, nature and childhood.
