Self-taught, I have always loved working with wood.
From the age of 14/15, a piece of wood and a knife gave me the pleasure of creating shapes.
I now practice sculpture diligently since my retirement in 2012.
I work with local or regional essences using stone and/or metal for bases and accessories, little new wood, especially old wood worked by time and bad weather to which I restore shapes according to my imagination. .
My pieces tend above all to evoke, suggest or quite simply exist by their form.
