It was in the seventies and in Gallic country that the young Al… MO…… discovered very early (3 years old) that he had a gift that differentiated him from his comrades who skillfully devoted themselves to doodling. While continuing his studies, he developed his art, refined his graphic technique and began in 5th grade to make money by reproducing sketches for his classmates (too lazy to do them themselves). He takes the nickname “ALMO”. At the age of 16 he was contacted by the newspaper “Lycées and colleges” and began a formidable epic as a cartoonist which would lead him successively to the newspapers: “LA CITE” (1994-2003), “ESPACE FOOT” (1994), “INFORMATIQUE INDIVIDUELLE "(1994), "MAMY WATA" (1998-2004), "TAXI MAGAZINE" (1999), "BUBINGA" (2003), "LE MARABOUT" (2003), "THE AFRICAN INDEPENDANT" (2003), (2004) and “100% YOUNG” (since 2000).
These years were also marked by the publication of comic strips: “THE SCHOOL OF DEMOCRACY”, “LAISSER PASSER”, an African collective comic strip “SHEGUE” and a collection of caricatures (bringing together different African caricaturists) published in Italy under the name from “AFRICARTOON”.
