Dystopian curiosity n°17.
Humans were born on Earth and remain entirely dependent on this complex ecosystem. Space is a place for which none of its organs were designed, with the exception of the brain.
Yet there he goes.
The time to conquer space has just accelerated... to the speed of light.
Human missions in space have scientific but also economic objectives: all celestial objects are potentially sources of raw materials available for the occupation and industrialization of deep space.
After having exhausted those of the Earth, leaving rationed humans behind, those of our solar system are infinite; and while yesterday we looked at our borders in fierce competition, it is now between the terrestrial economy and the space economy that we will have to negotiate to balance the competition... again.
Will we have learned nothing?
Homo sapiens is more than ever at the service of the economy, and not the other way around.
In 10 or 20 years at most, the exploitation of space for economic purposes will indeed be a reality. Within 50 years, humans (if we still call them that) will be born and die in the space that has become their homeland. They will no longer have either father or Mother Earth... except space-time and the sidereal void.

Born and living in the South of France, by the Mediterranean Sea, a promising artist in the performing arts since the age of 10, Almakan first embraced the more practical path of international business management, the artistic career being considered a destination to nowhere.
An engineer with a degree in geopolitics and strategic foresight, she ran businesses for 20 years, mainly in the fields of new technologies and communication, before deciding to devote herself exclusively to Art and try her luck as a full-time artist in 2016.
"Extracting Beauty from chaos and creating the future" is the whole soul of Almakan's work. Her world is blue and black, tinged with sunlight, just like her native land.
Her relationship with the future conditions her technique, she paints on canvases voluntarily uneven, sculpted with plaster or worked like a wrinkled skin in the image of our planet Earth, this blue stone... and like our existences, rarely smooth.
Obsessed with possible futures and the winding paths that shape humanity much more than the highways, she never stops exploring them by all the means given to her, combining paintings and curiosity drawings.
